Brittney’s Green Smoothie

5 Reasons Brittney Loves This Smoothie:

  1. It’s a fast way to sneak in green veggies (and we all know we need more of those!)
  2. The Elemental Wizdom Metamorphosis contains superfoods like chlorella, spirulina, and medicinal mushrooms (which help with everything from reducing inflammation to providing neurological benefits)
  3. It contains cottage cheese – it has a creamy texture, and is packed with casein protein (the slowest digesting of all the proteins) without using any powders; it will keep you full for awhile
  4. The ginger and turmeric root give it a fresh flavour (and turmeric is also said to help reduce inflammation)
  5. It’s sweet enough just as it is (just like you!).  It tastes great with just the sweetness of 1/2 an apple; it’s low in sugar

Ingredients:

  • 1 c spinach
  • 1/2 organic apple
  • 93 g 2% cottage cheese
  • 1 cm square fresh ginger
  • 1 cm square fresh turmeric
  • 1/2 tbsp Elemental Wizdom Metamorphosis
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 8 oz unsweetened cashew milk

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Combine the ingredients into your blender cup or blender starting from the top of the list and continuing to the end (I find it blends and fits in a Magic Bullet or Ninja cup best this way).
  2. Blend for about 1 min, or until smooth
  3. Enjoy regularly to become healthy AF over time.  I recommend pairing it with some fat like dark chocolate with nut butter –  or Adrienne’s Fat Bombs – to get all of the benefits of the fat soluble vitamins (like the vitamin A and K in the spinach)
